Starry Night Lights is offering free UPS Ground Shipping on orders of $100 or more. This offer is limited to the lower 48 states in the US and excludes our commercial fixtures.
Most of our products carry a manufacturers warranty. Please contact customer service for warranty information.

Starry Night Lights promises to deliver high-quality products, in excellent condition, to your door. If, for any reason, your shipment is not satisfactory, we will gladly replace it or accept a return of the merchandise.
If you decide to return an item that was part of our free shipping promotion, our initial shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refund. Any additional fees for shipping internationally, shipping to HI or AK, or any minimum order fees are also all non-refundable.
Returns with Restocking Fees
Many manufacturers charge a restocking fee. Please refer to the product page to view a particular manufacturer's return policy or you can browse our list of manufacturers with no restocking fee.
If you return an item with a restocking fee, it will be deducted from the refund. If the item was part of our free shipping promotion, our initial shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refund as well.
Non Returnable & Custom Made Product
Starry Night Lights sells products from some manufacturers that are custom made or built-to-order. These items are non-returnable and non-cancellable once the order has been placed. Please refer to the product page to view a particular manufacturer's return policy or you can browse our list of manufacturers that do not accept returns.
Please adhere to the following return policy:
The following items may be returned for a refund:
* Merchandise that has not been removed from its original packing.
* Defective merchandise.
* Merchandise that was mispacked or was not shipped correctly.
* Merchandise that has not been installed.
While we do our best to ensure excellent packaging, occasionally glass fixtures will arrive broken. Items received with broken glass ARE NOT considered defective products. In these cases, you can contact our customer service department to request replacement glass to be sent to you at no additional cost.
* Returns must be made within 30 days after receipt.
* Exchanges can only be made 60 days after receiving your product(s);
* Merchandise must have not been damaged in freight transit.
If defective, you may only exchange these items for the same product. Please call our customer service number if you are uncertain about any part of this return policy or you have unanswered questions.
Return By Mail
Follow the simple directions below to make your return by mail:
* Contact our returns department by telephone or web interface to process your return and receive an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Once you have set up your return by phone you will be e-mailed an RMA number. This generally takes a few days and varies by manufacturer. Along with this return number you will receive a ship-to address where you must send your merchandise to. Be sure to include your RMA number with your merchandise. This number will be used to guarantee you receive your credit. It is important to write the RMA number on the packaging slip, AND on the box. Note: If you return a product to us without an RMA number, your return could be subject to additional restocking fees.
* Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.
* We recommend items be returned via UPS or insured parcel post for proof of delivery. Be certain the items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to our warehouse. We also recommend that you reuse the original shipping carton and packing materials.
* You are responsible for all freight charges. However, you will be credited all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item if product is defective, or the wrong item was shipped. Please maintain the shipping receipt for your records.
* Items received past the return period plus reasonable shipping time may not be processed. Only items purchased from Starry Night Lights are eligible for return credit. Returned items must be shipped in the original product packaging. Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or billing address provided should your return not be accepted. Items will be resent to you upon receipt of your payment of freight charges. Items will be deemed abandoned if we are not contacted within 30 days.
Please note, we will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
Starry Night Lights is not responsible for any costs other than the cost of items returned and, in limited instances, shipping costs. No fees incurred due to damaged, or defective products will be covered by Starry Night Lights.
We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 14-21 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number if possible. If you paid by check please allow an additional 14-21 days for delivery of check via USPS.
